MONO Welcomes Bakery Students

Mono Equipment recently welcomed 30 bakery students from Halesowen College, based in the West Midlands, to our premises in Swansea.
The students were taken on a tour around our 22,000m2 manufacturing facility to see our complete range of equipment we manufacture here in Wales, before being taken to our unique on-site test bakery for a master class in baking by UK Director of Independent Sales, Chris Huish.
They spent the day creating a range of mouth-watering creations using a number of our most popular products including: The Fusion Bread Plant is designed to dramatically improve output capacity and efficiency, increasing the volume of items that can be effortlessly produced compared with the more traditional methods involving manual labour and the highly versatile Cookie Machine capable of cutting a wide range of dough quickly and easily.
Chris also used our NEW Leven machines which are designed to produce natural yeast and he created mouth-watering pizzas. These were baked in our Harmony Deck Oven.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and said that the visit gave them a much better insight into the equipment’s full capabilities. They are hoping to use the skills they have learnt when they return to the kitchens of Halesowen College which contains an extensive range of Mono’s equipment.
