MONO's Unveils its New Product Innovation Centre

A Fantastic New Resource is Unveiled...

It is often said that ‘necessity is the mother of invention’ and this well-known English proverb can certainly be applied to MONO Equipment.  Back in 1947 the dire necessity to automate the traditionally manual process of moulding bread loaves resulted in the very first MONO Universal Moulder.

This underlying ethos of creativity, originality and innovation has remained a core strength of the company and it is this inherent principle which has driven MONO to open its first dedicated, state-of-the-art, Product Innovation Centre (PIC).

The temperature controlled PIC occupies over 225m²  on a mezzanine overlooking the main production area and is furnished with the very latest design, testing & diagnostics equipment, requiring an investment of over £100,000.  This superb new facility will provide the growing team of specialist product designers and engineering staff at MONO the perfect environment in which to conceive the next generation of equipment to satisfy the needs of an ever-evolving market.

A Superb New Range of Depositors & Convection Ovens on Show at IBA...

MONO’s new PIC is already being put to good use as the new product development team works on the design of our new Universal range of Confectionery Depositors which will include new features  such as a totally re-designed hard-mix wirecut system, 2 and 3 colour depositing and full 3D-X multi-axes design functionality.

The team are also putting the final touches to our new BX Eco-Wash Convection Oven system which incorporates a superb new self-wash system which can be used to clean automatically the oven chamber as and when required. The new Eco-Wash ovens are being offered initially as part of MONO’s new In-Store Bakery System which includes an innovative Cassette Loading feature which means 14 fully-laden trays can be loaded and unloaded from the oven in a matter of seconds.
